My recent tour across the U.S. brought me to some of the nation’s finest treatment facilities in addiction and substance abuse.
During my #USTour2017, I arranged to visit an elegant, privately owned estate in Silver Springs, Florida, The Guest House Ocala, where I had the esteemed honor to get to know and interview industry leaders and the accomplished and caring executive staff.
The Guest House offers a cutting edge integration of addiction and functional medicine. They understand the profound importance of providing medical care that heals guests from the inside out. Their “Root Cause Integration Model” outlines a synergistic approach to healing that is revolutionizing addiction treatment.
The Guest House Ocala provides concierge style treatment services to those suffering from trauma and underlying issues, causing self defeating behaviors, such as substance and process addictions, anxiety, and depression.
The Guest House Ocala is home and brain-child to CEO and co-founder, Judy Crane, who has more than three decades of experience working in both residential and outpatient settings; developing one of the country’s leading treatment centers specializing in Trauma, PTSD and Addiction. The Guest House Ocala has been a labor of love. Her continued work is motivated by both unrelenting vigor and fixed determination and witnessed in my recent interview.
Take a listen to my recent visit with Ms. Judy Crane. As noted in our interview, Judy and her team work closely with international professionals to ensure the best quality of care for residents.
I highly recommend you pick up a copy of Judy’s premier book. You can find a copy on Amazon.
“The injuries we receive on our journey through life often go unwitnessed and unacknowledged. The hurt and the shock embedded by these painful memories instill a sense of disconnection from our bodies and impair our ability to process our true feelings. At The Guest House we believe that sharing your story with others creates an environment of emotional intimacy and trust, a place of connection, that allow us to experience real forgiveness and reconciliation. We believe sharing the darkness in a sanctuary of love and compassion is the birthplace of transformation.”
Managing Director and Co-Founder, John West was treated by Judy Crane in 2004 and became addiction-free, which led to a long-standing friendship and business partnership. John brings a wealth of experience of over 10 years to the programs at The Guest House Ocala.
John’s story lends to the quality of care found here and his journey begins from his parents who afforded him a life of creativity, fame and success mixed with healing-homeopathic practices, leading John to his work in film and recovery as a Sober Companion and Interventionist to those unable to share their pain with the world. John took his gift of recovery and now shares it with the world in his programs at The Guest House Ocala.
Thomas Pecca is the Clinical Director at The Guest House Ocala. I sat down with Tom to reflect on quality of care from his highly trained experience in substance and process addictions and his long-standing work with Dr. Patrick Carnes as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and Certified Multiple Addictions Therapist (CMAT).
Tom has been working in residential treatment since 2003 conducting process, experiential and psycho-educational groups. He has an expansive education in process addictions including gambling, gaming and internet addictions. Tom is an international speaker and trainer and has trained other clinicians in trauma work throughout the United States and on three continents.
Jessica Pardee is a brilliant example of the caring professionalism you’ll be met with at The Guest House. As Director of Admissions, Jessica welcomes each guest into their carefully designed and personalized program.
‘It takes a village.’ From the front of the house to behind the scenes, it takes a coordinated team of caretakers and operators, working to ensure your stay and treatment has the best possible outcome. Tatum Leonardis and I got to connect on more of what makes The Guest House Ocala such a special program center.
Audra Walterhouse brings her speciality in business relations, media consulting, film and television production to cultivate a strong, supporting community in the world of treatment and health, helping to facilitate a world-class wellness program.
A very special thank you goes out to the entire staff of the The Guest House Ocala, for making my visit possible and for sharing their stories.
The interviews collected over my week long journey across America give you a personal insider’s look at the facilitators and caregivers leading the healthcare movement in addiction and substance abuse. I urge you to get connected. No matter where you reside in the world, help is just a phone call away and you have access to a diverse network of treatment facilitators who are placing your care at the utmost of their responsibility. These healthcare providers work closely with therapists and care facilities globally for your ease of treatment. You do not have to be alone in your treatment, whether you yourself are seeking treatment or tending to the needs of a loved one.
Sincere gratitude goes to all the caring staff, coordinators and executives serving our community internationally, for the excellent treatments you provide and for welcoming my audience into your special care establishments.
What’s your story? If you were inspired by my recent #USTour2017 feel free to comment and share with friends and the contact information for all of the care centers can be found within the blogs or on my youtube page.
